Our patented technology, your comfort

British designed and engineered

At the heart of the Bolt boiler is our patented CoolRun heat exchanger, designed in the UK by Bolt founder Jaskiran Nagi.

CoolRun’s unique fin design maximises water flow and minimises energy loss, so that the Bolt boiler delivers fast, responsive and powerful hot water, equivalent to a 34KW gas boiler when boosted with a battery.

You’ll find it’s more than enough to feed several powerful showers or a bath, and far outpaces the performance of a traditional electric combi boiler.

100% control in the palm of your hand

As you’d expect, Bolt comes with a dedicated app that offers total control of your Bolt system, from turning on or adjusting your heating remotely, to tracking your battery charge status, the Bolt app puts you in charge.

Bolt has fewer parts than an equivalent gas boiler -- which means less to go wrong. Our customers find their Bolt boilers exceptionally low maintenance -- representing a significant cost saving in servicing over the lifetime of the system. Just for peace of mind, your Bolt app will keep you connected to the team, so in the very unlikely event you do have an issue with Bolt, we're always just a tap away.

The Bolt difference

No bulky tank - just unlimited, high pressure hot water

If you're retiring your old gas boiler, Bolt offers a completely hassle-free replacement. Using existing pipe connections and radiators, Bolt can be fitted just a few hours, and with as little as a 4KW grid connection matches the performance of a 34KW gas boiler when boosted with a battery.

Plus, add a dedicated solar panel to create a super efficient, DC-to-DC system to charge the Bolt battery, and heat your home with unlimited, renewable energy.

Charging your Bolt

Connect directly to a rooftop panel
Bolt is equipped with standard solar connectors which you can plug directly into a rooftop panel - without the need for an inverter. This setup delivers up to a 20% efficiency gain, and Bolt will automatically charge your batteries with solar when it's available.

Low tariff charging
You can shedule your Bolt to charge during low-cost tariff hours, and combine this with daytime solar charging for maximum energy efficiency.

AI charge controller
Coming soon to the Bolt app, AI charging will use local weather data to determine the optimal ratio of solar and low-tariff charging to ensure your hot water and heating needs are always powered as efficiently as possible.
